The Lego BTS Set Is Cute
I'll try to control my laughter so I don't sound like Little Miss Sunshine on the breeze when I hear about Lego's BTS set. No promises.
On the video set of their major single, which broke YouTube's 24-hour record with over 100 million views in 2020, the seven members of the K-pop powerhouse relax. It also set a new record for comments on YouTube.
I can't stop staring at V's waistcoat in the kit, which was created by two 20-year-old fans. It includes gorgeous Lego models of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook wearing their video clothes. These are scattered amid small, assemble-able groups of pastel-hued, '70s-inspired locations including the iconic discothèque with its enormous DISCO sign, as well as the retro burger and doughnut shop, ice cream truck, record store, and basketball court. short BTS stage
You can put Jungkook toasting doughnuts, V dancing next to the ice cream truck, Jungkook toasting donuts, and a turquoise-haired RM at a record shop with Lego "Dynamite" vinyls.
A few days ago, Lego tweeted about a BTS release. BTS was not created by BigHit or HYBE. It's a component of Lego Ideas, where anyone may vote on and contribute set designs. Josh, a 20-year-old designer from Indiana, and Jacob, a 21-year-old New Yorker and BTS fan, created "Dynamite." It was approved by Lego after 10,000 Ideas views.
According to a Lego news release, "Josh did the building and design work, and as a great BTS fan, I directed him what needed to be in it, what details were most important."
Josh explained, "Jacob has Excellent knowledge, and he was able to lead my build in the appropriate method. I frequently watched the music video in order to use Legos to recreate its enthusiasm.
Early in March 2023, the BTS "Dynamite" Lego kit will be available for purchase on the Lego website and in-stores for US$99.99 (£89.99/€99.99).
Since the song is now stuck in your mind, here is the video.
